June 2026 Southeast Michigan Housing Report

What's happening in the Southeast Michigan Housing Market?  Great news in June as home sales continued to rise from the previous year as well as the median sales price of homes.  Pending sales also rose from last year making way for July closings.

Although we are still seeing increased sales indicating a strong housing market, homes remained on the market overall a bit longer empowering buyers to seek housing without the extreme urgency to purchase upon immediately viewing a home.  However, if you've found your dream home, don't waste time thinking there's another out there for you.  We are still seeing buyers lose out on their perfect home within hours of viewing it so certain homes are still going fast.

Overall, good time to buy and great time to sell!
